Creating my community
By: Kevin Xu

Community is a funny thing online. People tend to start going to the same websites, interacting with the same people and all of a sudden you get that feeling of friends and community.
When I started Can The World Hear Me with Josh, we never thought it would grow to a blog with dedicated readers. Maybe some random passer-bys or maybe one article would go viral but never the thought of readers that would leave comments on every post and threads to keep talk alive.
Today I want to thank all those readers we have noticed lately:
- Bamboo Forest is one of the most notable readers of our blog. He comments on almost every post and it’s always 100% insightful.
- Jessica Mah is the one person that helped get this whole thing about startups started and I give her a huge thank you as a friend and as a reader.
- Christian T is a friend of mine thats been keeping up with this blog. It’s nice to know that people I know are reading this as well.
- Ellis is another friend that’s been reading my blog on RSS feeds. It’s nice to know someone’s actually subscribed to it, haha.
If I haven’t mentioned you then my bad, these are just a few I most noticed lately in the blog posts. If you have been a reader for a while then leave a comment! I love talking to my readers. If you are a new reader then leave a comment as well and I hope you stick around for more posts to come!

Your blog is a good one. One I enjoy, and that’s why I read and comment. Thanks for the acknowledgement.
Wishing you guys continued success with C.T.W.H.M.
Blogging is a great exercise for the mind. It continually pushes you to come up with good ideas, and enhances ones ability to write well. It’s a worthwhile endeavor on many counts.

Couldn’t have said it better myself! Thanks for reading from a fellow blogger

I can’t remember how I stumbled across this site, but I’ve been subscribed to the RSS feed for a little while now. It’s inspiring that you two have the guts to face the odds and try to start some change. It also keeps me thinking about how I could break away from the desk job that will be expected of me in a couple of years and do something a little more independent.

Thank you Noah! Knowing our readers care about our mission and that we inspire others makes blogging all the worthwhile.

I’ve been a reader for quite a while now. =]
Personally, I can’t wait to read normal blog posts instead of the usual ‘housekeeping’ ones it has been lately. Hopefully this will come true with CTWHM 2.0!
Best,
