Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve talked to either of you, but you probably don’t remember me. I went to school with you, Josh, in the IG program, I think, from 4th to 6th grade, and I know that I was in some of your 7th grade classes, Kevin. Do you remember a Chinese girl who wore glasses, was always reading books, and seemed inordinately fond of hitting people? If so, that’s me. If not, well…ignore the last sentence.
You’ll never guess how I found you guys. I had joined Zinch.com, was browsing through The Biggest Loser list for the Zinch.com scholarship, saw “Kevin X,” and had a sudden flash of intuition that I somehow knew him. And there you were! The rest is history. So, I just wanted to make contact again after all these years and say that I’m reading your blog…from Hubei Province, China.
I actually was wondering how you managed to set up this site. I’m working on setting up my own blog about life in China, actually, but it’s a little difficult. I’ve tried to access many of the major blogging websites and I’m not able to, so resources like WordPress, etc. are not available to me. I’m not very good with HTML, either, and Dreamweaver is currently my best friend. If you have any suggestions about how to write code to allow comments or infrastructure-related things like that, they would be so welcome.
Well, it was nice to finally catch up again. Feel free to email me. Best of luck with the blog! It’s really interesting to read your ideas.
